Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery is increasingly available from many different platforms. In response to the International SAR user community’s need to develop a deeper understanding of SAR imagery and image processing methods, PCI Geomatics is pleased to present a detailed, 4-day advanced SAR course from September 30 - October 3, 2019, to be held in Kraków, Poland. The course also includes a fully functioning version of PCI’s Geomatica software and all SAR modules, as well as access to our support team to help guide you in working with SAR imagery.
- This course will cover important fundamental SAR concepts (image formation, sensors, data types) and progressively work towards operational processing and interpretation of SAR imagery and products.
- The course will cover theory and application examples for InSAR, polarimetry and compact polarimetry.
- Attendees must bring their own laptop, software licenses will be provided through PCI Geomatics.
- Attendees located outside Kraków must cover their travel and living expenses, light refreshments will be available during the course.
- PCI reserves the right to not offer the course if the minimum number of attendees is not met. In the event that the course does not take place due to the minimum number of attendees not being met, a full refund of the course fee will be conducted.
